We have a new link up from our friends in Islip town. Islip, England that is. Yes, the town which we originally came from has produced an online documentary about the town of Islip England. It's history and everything. Check it out. The film is available online free so why not stop over and check out the site and check out a part of our history! We have some new information about the memorial located on Higbe Lane and Montauk Highway. It is about Mr. Annino who has a tribute marker at the site. Joe Annino is one of the people memorialized at the Miller Memorial at Montauk Highway and Higbie Lane, primarily because he was instrumental in establishing the West Islip Fire Department, the Post Office, and the Public Library. He donated land to West Islip on Union Boulevard for this purpose.
